New guide to Clinical Commissioning Groups in Leeds
Easy on the I have produced a new guide explaining the new NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) and how they will be working in Leeds. The guide was produced in response to a request from the Leeds Health Task Group for people with learning disabilities for better information about how things had changed in the city.
A CCG is a group of GPs and other health professionals who
commission (plan and buy) health services for their local communities.
• Hospital services
• Community health services
• Mental health and learning disability services
• Emergency and urgent healthcare
The new guide has already been given to
to help with their work and will also be available on the
information service for Leeds.
