We are delighted to announce that comedienne Helen Lederer is joining us to host the first ever Tenfold Leeds Learning Disability Awards ceremony on 20 June in Leeds.
Helen is one of Britain’s best loved and popular personalities and her diverse career on TV, radio and the stage, as well as being a writer and journalist for national publications has kept her in the public eye.
She is probably best known for her role as the dippy Catriona in Absolutely Fabulous where she starred alongside Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley, but she is also known for her unique brand of wit and observational humour.
Helen more recently appeared in ITV’s Splash! with Tom Daley, and also appeared on The Great British Menu does Comic Relief. Helen is excited about her role as the Awards host and told us:
“I am really pleased to support the first ever Tenfold Learning Disability Awards and I am looking forward to meeting some of the amazing people who have been nominated from Leeds”.
Tenfold Manager, Kath Lindley said: “We are thrilled that Helen is supporting us in our inaugural awards year, and we are sure that she will bring lots of fun and laughter to what already promises to be an exciting and inspiring evening”
